Men’s hockey remains unbeaten by UNO, after a tie and an overtime victory this past weekend.  Junior goaltender Dan Bakala made over 60 saves, and BSU got goals from senior Matt Read, who scored 2, and senior Ryan Cramer, junior Matt Carlson and freshmen Radoslav Illo.  The Beavers tied 2-2 on Friday, and won 3-2 on Saturday.

Women’s hockey was swept by UND, losing by 6-2 and 5-2.  Senior forward Annie Bauerfeld was a factor in each BSU goal, scoring 2 and assisting 1.

Women’s basketball was swept this weekend, losing to Concordia-St. Paul and St. Cloud.  Sophomore center Jessie Althoff led the Beavers in points on Friday with 13, and added 12 more on Saturday.

Men’s basketball was swept this weekend, losing to Concordia and St. Cloud.  Sophomore forward Lance Rongstad led the Beavers in scoring on Friday with 27 points, and junior guard Bryce Tesdahl chipped in with a double-double, adding 12 points and 10 assists.

Men and women’s track hosted their annual Super 8 Open this past weekend.  Senior Brian Baulke was the top finisher for BSU men’s, scoring 3,893 in the Heptathlon.  Senior Pearl Walker finished second in the women’s division of the Heptathlon, scoring 2,347.  BSU alumn Zac Preble won the heptathlon.
