Public Safety Reports 10/17-10/23

10/17

Larceny, Theft
Public Safety and Bemidji Police Department responded to a theft complaint at NTC. An enclosed trailer had been broken into and several tools were stolen

Alarm, Fire
Public Safety and Bemidji Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in Hagg Sauer Hall. The alarm was caused by a steam leak.

Maintenance
Maintenance was notified that there was no hot water in Oak Hall.

Drugs, Suspicion
Public Safety responded to a report of someone smoking marijuana in Tamarack Hall. The area was searched and nobody was located.

Suspicious Person
Public Safety and the Bemidji Police Department searched the area near the Maple Hall parking lot after an individual was seen attempting to break into a vehicle. The individual was not located.

Property, Lost
A blue enV3 cell phone was reported lost.

Disturbance
An individual in Linden Hall had University conduct charges forwarded on them after not complying with Public Safety.

Alcohol, Minor, Conduct
Public Safety witnessed an individual urinating in the Maple Hall parking lot. University conduct charges were filed.

Vehicle Accident, H&R
Public Safety and the Bemidji Police Department responded to a minor hit and run accident in the Maple Hall parking lot.

Alcohol, Minor, Conduct
Two individuals had conduct charges filed against them after they were found consuming alcohol in the Maple Hall parking lot.

Assault, Physical
Public Safety responded to a report of a fight that occurred in Maple Hall. Upon arrival, both parties had left the area.

Alcohol, Minor, Arrest
An individual was arrested in Diamond Point Park by Bemidji Police after they were found consuming alcohol in Tamarack Hall. The individual fled Public Safety officers and was detained and held for Bemidji Police. University Conduct charges were filed as well.

Drugs, Arrest
Public Safety located several individuals smoking marijuana in the Rec Center parking lot. Bemidji Police responded, one individual was arrested for minor consumption, one individual was cited and conducted for possession of marijuana, two individual were cited and conducted for minor consumption and two individuals were conducted for use of marijuana.

Disturbance
University conduct charges were filed for one individual after they ran from Public Safety officers.
