“Call Me Maybe B-Town Style” Goes Viral on YouTube

In case you have not seen it yet, athletes at BSU made a wildly entertaining music video based off of Carly Rae Jespen’s “Call Me Maybe.”

The students involved are:  Erica Trabing, Shannon Thompson, Samantha Baldwin, Chelsea Carlson, Emily Kaus, Max Rosenbloom, Dillon Floyd, Jason Edwards, Brock Tesdahl, Allison McKee, Paige Tompkins, Kelly Niles, Tatum Lee, Brian Grant, and Kristen Thingvold.

“The bread and butter for this project was Erica Trabing,” Tesdahl said. “She came up with the idea by watching Justin Bieber’s reenactment to Carly Rae Jespen’s music video ‘Call Me Maybe’.  She also did all of the editing for the video.”

The video, titled “Call Me Maybe B-Town Style” took two days to film.  “The best part was just working on the video together,” Tesdahl said. “It is something that we will always remember for the rest of our lives.”

The video includes some suggestive themes, including several creative uses for bananas.  “Never interrupt me when I am eating a banana,” Tesdahl said.

In its first week on YouTube, the video had 1,858 views.
